At Alma Enterprises, we're committed to protecting the environment and minimizing waste. We aim to divert at least 70% of cleared items from landfill through recycling, reuse, and donation.
Our Process
Reuse & Donation
Items in good, usable condition are donated to local charities, community groups, and organizations that can give them a second life. This includes:
- Furniture in good condition
- Working appliances
- Clothing and textiles
- Books and household items
- Children's toys and equipment
Recycling
We separate and recycle materials wherever possible:
- Metals (ferrous and non-ferrous)
- Wood and timber
- Plastics
- Paper and cardboard
- Glass
- Electronics (WEEE recycling)
Responsible Disposal
Only when items cannot be reused or recycled do we dispose of them, and we always use licensed waste facilities that comply with environmental regulations.

Hazardous Waste

As required by law, we provide Waste Transfer Notes for all clearances, documenting the proper handling and disposal of waste.
Registered Waste Carrier
Alma Enterprises is a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency. Our commitment to the environment is at the heart of everything we do.
